The admission requirement for;
BRIDGING COURSE TO NTA (National Technical Award) LEVEL 4 IN JOURNALISM
Secondary school leavers who do not possess the required passes to join Basic Technician Certificate in Journalism. Specifically, this bridging program intends to equip them with a base competence to enable them to join a Basic Technician Certificate in Journalism program.
BRIDGING COURSE TO NTA (National Technical Award) LEVEL 4 IN JOURNALISM
Secondary school leavers who do not possess the required passes to join Basic Technician Certificate in Journalism. Specifically, this bridging program intends to equip them with a base competence to enable them to join a Basic Technician Certificate in Journalism program.
BASIC TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE IN JOURNALISM (NTA LEVEL 4)
The program targets applicants who have completed form IV with at least four passes including English language OR applicants with relevant NVA (National Vocational Award) Level 3 qualifications but should also posses at least form four education qualification OR applicants with Bridging Course to NTA level 4 in Journalism.

TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE IN JOURNALISM (NTA LEVEL 5)
The program targets applicants who have completed form VI with at least one principal pass in relevant subjects OR applicants with NTA level 4 in Journalism OR relevant NVA (National Vocational Award) Level 3 qualifications, but should also posses at least form four education qualifications.ORDINARY DIPLOMA IN JOURNALISM, (NTA LEVEL 6)
The program target applicants who have completed NTA level 5 in Journalism with minimum of second class.

Terms of Admission
A candidate is admitted to Fanikiwa Journalism School, on the understanding that in accepting the admission he/she commits him/herself to adhere to its charter, statutes ordinance, regulations, rules and by laws as they are promulgated form time to time
The FJS Campus operates yearly on term or quarter system whereby the new intake is done on January, April, June, August and December every year.
